For this class, I have been dedicating my time to video editing. These three videos are memes. The first one needs no introduction. The second one is a old cartoon that I turned into a horror movie trailer. The last one is a steamed hams meme that I messed around with the effects.
Animation Exercises:
These art my animation exercises I completed for my intermediate animation course. I started out by hand drawing them with a light box, then I scanned them into the computer and polished them in the software, Toon Boom Harmony. Final:This was my final for this course. It was my first attempt at lip sync animation. It was very difficult because I was using Photoshop (Which is not a good animation software). I find it kind of humorous, because it was improvised, but some might not be funny to some.
After my sophomore critique, I did two more animations in my intro to animation course. On the left is my claymation video featuring my signature character, Bubblegum Boy. I improvised the whole thing and generated a short narrative using only found objects, and a character I sculpted. The set was also created by yours truly. On the right is my final for the course. It was a hand drawn animation of emotions. On the left is my first ever animation. I drew a walking cycle of a bubble gum character. I used color pencils and the dragon software to create
On the right is a cut paper animation of the Detroit Red Wings winning the Stanley Cup Finals in 1997, the year of my birth. I also used the dragon software for this piece. The top left is a digital illustration of fifty items. I based it off of a scene from a children's book I made when I was a senior in high school.
The top right is an editorial illustration of Carrie Fisher's passing. I used water colors to illustrate the characters in my own style The bottom left is a water color lion from memory. No reference or sketching was allowed The bottom right is multiple blind contour drawing of a alligator with water colors.
These are comics I made for my graphic novel course. A four panel comic, and one page comic, and a two page comic. The downloadable file is my final for the course that is eight pages long.
The left is a photoshopped image I created, and the left is a cook book I created in Adobe Illustrator
This is a visual glossary I created for my graphic design course. I used the theme of animals and illustrated them using water color and ink.
The top is a ceramic sculpture I crafted and painted. The middle is my sneaker I made from cardboard triangles. The bottom is a wooden house I built, cut in half, and painted.
These drawings were for my intro to drawing course. The top two are contour drawings of a plant. The drawing of a phone was for my assignment where I had to draw a scene from a movie that made me cry. Next to that is my final for the class; a picture of Nathan Drake from the Uncharted video games. At the bottom is an illustration of random shapes drawn to look like a giant lizard is attacking a giant crab.
